Topic: CEFCOM Question

Is there a way on the DIN I can find a position number for any up coming deployments? I look under CEFCOM J1 and seen more senior NCO/Officer positions. I'm looking for myself. Even if I have to attach myself to another unit since my unit doesn't deploy. Not totally sure if I have the wording correct.

PM if you can since this may be a sensitive material.

Find someone with CFTPO.  Probably your Ops cell.   Lists all deployment positions (including TAVS)

Agree with the Piper.  Find someone with CFTPO and surf it. 

It will allow you to list pretty much any activity in the CF which requires some sort of tasking.

Will the CFTPO also search MOSID?

I believe so, but sometimes its a pain to navigate.

You can search for open positions by Mosid. 

You can also track down positions by position number ( if known) or you can look up a persons last name and find if a replacement has been identified ( if you are looking to replace a particular person)

Be aware some positions are designated for particular units or regions to fill.  If they choose not to fill them, they are sent to a higher formation until nominee is identified.

I actually like CFTPO ( one of the better internally developed CF software applications)
