Groton— One of Canada's four Victoria class submarines, the HMCS Corner Brook, is currently visiting the Naval Submarine Base in Groton.

The Corner Brook arrived at the base on Monday to participate in an exercise later this month with the USS Memphis (SSN 691). Lt. Cmdr. Alex Kooiman, the commanding officer of the Corner Brook, said the Memphis will fire dummy torpedoes and his submarine will evade them.

The port call provides an opportunity for both the U.S. and Canadian navies to continue to improve their ability to work together

This sounds like something I would rather watch from the sidelines than be abaord the CB for.
